                 AN AUDIO VIDEO PRESENTATION    

The first batch of barangay newly-elected officials from the Municipalities of Botolan, Iba, San Antonio and San Felipe, Zambales were trained under the Barangay Newly-Elected Officials (BNEO) towards Grassroots Renewal and Empowerment Accountable and Transparent (GREAT) Barangays Program from February 19, 2024 to February 21, 2024 at the Subic Peninsular Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone. 

The Kadiwa ng Pangulo (KNP) Provincial Core Agencies, with the                                                                                                                  Provincial Agriculture Office as the lead convenor, and various National Government Agencies (NGAs) including the DILG as co-convenors, spearheaded the successful simultaneous launching of KNP in the 13 municipalities of Zambales on February 19, 2024.

 A convergence meeting with regards to the preparations for the forthcoming 1st Quarter Joint Provincial Peace and Order and Public Safety Cluster held on February 16, 2024 at the DILG Zambales Provincial Office.

With the aim of providing additional support to the Local Government Units, the DILG Zambales conducted a Provincial Seminar-Workshop on the use of Peace and Order and Public Safety Plans – Policy Compliance Monitoring System (POPSP-PCMS) on February 15, 2024, at the Balin Sambali, Iba, Zambales. This effort is intended to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of LGUs' compliance with the reportorial requirements through the system.

In an effort to promote effective conflict resolution at the grassroots level, an orientation was conducted on February 13, 2024, at Balin Sambali, Iba, Zambales, to enlighten the members of the Awards Committees and local officials on the guidelines and criteria for the 2024 Lupong Tagapamapaya Incentives Awards (LTIA).

In a groundbreaking initiative, the Municipality of San Antonio, Zambales pioneered the hosting of the Lady Legislators’ League of the Philippines, Inc. (Four-L) Municipal Chapter Election on February 15, 2024. Spearheaded by Hon. Elizabeth Ablog, in collaboration with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Field Office of San Antonio, this landmark event marks a significant stride towards gender equality and inclusive governance.
