Kicking off the year, the DILG Zambales convened on January 16, 2024, at the Provincial Office for its first Team Conference to come up with strategic plans aimed at increasing effectiveness and aligning the team's preparations as they gear up for the forthcoming assessments. 

In a bid to recognize outstanding community mediators and promote peaceful dispute resolution, the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) has undergone rigorous scrutiny through the Provincial Assessment Committee (PAC) Validation process today, April 11, 2024 at the DILG Zambales Provincial Office. 

On April 12, 2024, the DILG R3 project monitoring team and DILG-Zambales jointly inspected six (6) projects under the LGSF-SBDP 2023 in the Municipality of Masinloc, with the aim of verifying that the construction of the projects adheres to the detailed engineering design and program of works. Present during the inspection were Engr. Emerson De Jesus, Engr. Lance Bernardo and Engr. John Erikx Calilong of DILG Region 3, LGOO VI Shieralyn Esteban, Engr. III Jelly Mae Ebalobo and PEO I Bryan Allejos of DILG Zambales, and representatives from the municipal engineering office.

The Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (CFLGA-PIMTF) chaired by the DILG, conducted its initial table validation earlier today, April 12, 2024 at DILG Provincial Office. This aims to assist the Local Government Units (LGUs) in ensuring the completion of documents prior to uploading in the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance Knowledge Monitoring System (SCFLG-KMS).

Amungan, Iba, Zambales has successfully conducted its Barangay Kalinisan Day (BarKaDa) Clean-up on April 6, 2024 as it was chosen as the Regional Showcase Barangay for the 13th Week implementation of the Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas Program in Central Luzon.

In a resounding testament to the dedication and effectiveness of Local Councils for the Protection of Children (LCPCs), the members of the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF) concluded on April 8, 2024 a comprehensive validation process, at the DILG Provincial Office.
