In a bid to recognize outstanding community mediators and promote peaceful dispute resolution, the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) has undergone rigorous scrutiny through the Provincial Assessment Committee (PAC) Validation process today, April 11, 2024 at the DILG Zambales Provincial Office.
The PAC members – composed of the DILG, Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, Regional Trial Court, Zambales Provincial Police Office (ZPPO), Liga ng mga Barangay, and CSO representatives – diligently reviewed the performance and accomplishments of Lupong Tagapamayapa from the municipal entries of the 13 LGUs of the Province.
Armed with a comprehensive understanding of the LTIA guidelines and evaluation criteria, the committee meticulously assessed each nominee to ensure that only the most deserving Lupons will be endorsed at the regional level, under the 1st to 3rd and 4th to 6th class categories.
As the validation process draws to a close, anticipation mounts for the announcement of LTIA winners by the end of this year. The exemplary dedication to promoting peace and harmony within the communities serves as inspiration for others to follow suit. Through the unwavering commitment of all stakeholders, the LTIA reaffirms its status as an example of excellence in community mediation and conflict resolution. ##
