                 AN AUDIO VIDEO PRESENTATION    

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales concluded its regular Provincial Team Conference (PTC) on March 14, 2024, with a comprehensive discussion on various programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing performance in local governance and community development.

In recognition of the achievements made by women in history and modern society, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales joint Kick-off Ceremony of the 2024 National Women's Month Celebration (NWMC) earlier, March 4, 2024, via zoom platform. During the activity, personnel from the provincial office were in attendance. 

The joint meeting of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), chaired by Hon. Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr., Governor of Zambales, convened on March 1, 2024 at Balin Sambali, Iba, Zambales. Representatives from different member agencies were in attendance to discuss the accomplishments, programs, projects and activities (PPAs) and other critical measures in addressing matters concerning peace and order, illegal drugs, terrorism, insurgency and disaster preparedness. 

The Department of the Interior and Local Government - Province of Zambales provided Technical Assistance for the Provincial Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) Committee Members on E-CLIP Information System today, February 6, 2024 at the DILG Zambales Provincial Office.

Following the Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) Zambales Provincial Chapter elections held last January 12, 2024, at the Balin Sambali, Zambales Sports Complex, Hon. Nestor E. Pacheco of Candelaria, the newly-elected LNB President, together with the set of officers, took their Oath of Office before the Honorable Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane on January 15, 2024, at the Provincial Capitol.

In a strategic move towards strengthening its commitment to child welfare and community safety, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Zambales in partnership with the Provincial Government of Zambales, conducted an Orientation on Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) and Training on Strengthening the Local Councils for the Protection of Children (LCPCs) and Local Committees on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWCs) on February 01, 2024 at Balin Sambali, Iba, Zambales. 

The activity was overwhelmingly attended by the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF) members, Local Planning Officers, Local Social Welfare Development Officers, Local Health Officers/Local Nutrition Action Officers, DepEd Representatives, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and DILG Local Government Operations Officers of the 13 municipalities of Zambales and Olongapo City.

The activity highlights the discussion of LGOO V Rose Ann Agostosa, LGOO V Jacqueline Calimlim, and LGOO II Aljon Bautista together with LGOO II John Carlo Vergara on the updated guidelines for this year’s CFLGA and functionality assessments of the LCPC and LCAT-VAWC along with the presentation of gaps and areas for improvements based on the previous audit results.
