                 AN AUDIO VIDEO PRESENTATION    

In aiming to upscale the performance of Locally-Funded Projects (LFPs) implementation, the Department of the Interior and Local Government - Province of Zambales, concerned local functionaries from the 13 Municipalities and the Provincial Government of Zambales, convened today, February 6, 2023, for the First Provincial LFPs Calibration of Status Reports for the Year 2024 via video conferencing platform. 

“This calibration is not just to know the status of projects but also to remind everybody that we’re dealing with government funds”,  said LGOO VII Melissa D. Nipal, Cluster Team Leader of DILG Zambales and concurrent OIC - City Director of DILG Olongapo City, as she emphasized the significance of the activity. In addition, CTL Nipal congratulated everyone as she shared that the DILG Zambales LFP Team was hailed as the Best LFP Team of Central Luzon during the Gawad Timpukan 2023 celebration last December 19, 2023. CTL Nipal commended the efforts of the LGUs,  which led to the province's successful implementation of locally funded projects. 

The status of implementation of Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) Programs, status on compliance on SubayBAYAN, RSSA, and RLIP, reminder on regular LGU reportorial requirements for LGSF projects and the status of Submission of Municipal Water Supply and Sanitation Master Plan (MWSSMP) were presented by Engr. II Nicole Shane L. Pampanga. Commitment setting on the submission of reportorial requirements was also facilitated by Engr. Pampanga at the end of the sessions.

Engr. III Jelly Mae T. Ebalobo discussed the salient features of Regional Memorandum Circular 2024-003 FY 2023 Local Project Monitoring Committees (LPMCs) Functionality Assessment,  to inform the LGUs on the guidelines for the 2023 functionality assessment as well as to establish an updated database with the current status of the LPMCs. 

Engr. II Princess Ivy B. Coloma presented updates on the upcoming LFP activities and the new LGU assignments of the Engineers for the monitoring and evaluation of projects.

The Guidelines and Project Minimum Standards for FY 2024 Support to the Barangay Development Program (SBDP), Approved Guidelines in the Implementation of FY 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) and Status of Submission of documentary requirements for the release of Notice to Implement (NTI) under FY 2023 SGLGIF were also presented by Engr. II Pampanga and Engr. III Ebalobo, respectively.##
