On October 1-2 & 4, 2024, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales Provincial Monitoring Team, in collaboration with the local government units (LGUs), conducted a project inspection on the implementation of locally funded projects (LFPs) in the province of Zambales' three (3) municipal beneficiaries, Palauig, Iba and Cabangan, respectively. Present during the activity were LGOO VI Lianne Abegail T. Muñoz, LGOO VI Suslijah N. Gesmundo, LGOO II Lui Felise B. Pantaleon, Engr. Adrian Ariel C. Artates, Engr. Joel A. Damaso, Engr. II Dorothy Joy U. Causing, PEO I Bryan B. Allejos and respective contractors.

The DILG Zambales Provincial Monitoring Team conducted its strategic planning for the 4th quarter of 2024 on September 27, 2024, at the DILG Zambales Provincial Office. The planning aimed to ensure compliance with report submissions, close monitoring of projects, and the updating of all Locally Funded Projects (LFP) monitoring tools.

LGOO II Jelly Mae T. Ebalobo, LFP Focal Person, emphasized the importance of timely report submissions and effectively distributed workloads among the team members to enhance productivity. Likewise, Engineer II Dorothy Joy U. Causing and PEO I Bryan B. Allejos shared valuable ideas to enhance the overall project monitoring in the province.

Over all, the DILG LFP Team established a plan to address gaps and achieve full compliance, focusing on proactive measures and continuous strengthening of the team’s commitment to effective monitoring.
