As part of the collective effort to strengthen the earthquake awareness and readiness, the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Province of Zambales actively took part in the conduct of 3rd quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), earlier, September 26, 2024.
The purpose of this activity is to highlight the importance of drills and simulations and preparedness measures in preparing individuals to be equipped with necessary knowledge allowing them to react appropriately and effectively during disasters, such as earthquakes, thereby reducing the threat of damage, injuries, and loss of life.

Botolan, Zambales- With the objective of bringing government services closer to Zambaleño, the Provincial Government of Zambales joined the conduct of the Simultaneous Nationwide Distribution of Comprehensive Government Assistance, held yesterday, September 13, 2024 at Botolan Peoples’ Plaza. The said activity was attended by DENR USec. Juan Miguel Cuna, Congresswoman Doris “Bing” E. Maniquiz, Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr., Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Hon. Reena Mae Collado and Hon. Lugil S. Ragadio, Mayor Irenea Maniquiz-Binan, Mayor Jun Omar C. Ebdane, Mayor La Rainne Abad-Sarmiento, SB Dan Paradeza (Representative of Mayor Billy Aceron), and the beneficiaries from different municipalities of the province.
