Labindalawang Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (MADACs) angmuling nagpakita ng kahusayan at pagiging epektibo sa kanilang tungkulin na labanan ang paglaganap ng paggamit at pagbebenta ng iligal na droga sa kanilang mga nasasakupang bayan para sa taong 2020.
Ito ay base sa naganap na Provincial ADAC Functionality Audit ngayong Agosto 6, 2021 na ginanap sa pamamagitan ng zoom online meeting application na kung saan nakakuha ng ideal to moderate na antas ng pagiging epektibo (level of functionality) ang karamihan sa mga bayan sa lalawigan ng Zambales.
Sumailalim ang labintatlong MADACs sa nasabing Audit ng ADAC Audit Provincial Team (APT) na pinangungunahan ni Dir. Armi V. Bactad ng Kagawaran ng Interyor at Lokal na Pamahalaan (DILG), kasama sina PMAJ Pancho D. Doble ng Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO), IA V Jigger B. Juniller ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) at mga kinatawan ng Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) na sina Rev. Rosalio I. Mendoza, Jr ng Empowering Leaders for Transformation, Inc. at Gng. Evelyn Ebuen ng Mike Delta Force Intelligence and Communication Group.
DILG ZAMBALES GEARS UP PROVINCE’S DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION EFFORTS THRU SDEC ESTABLISHMENT

Aiming to promote programs for drug abuse prevention with the end in view of educating the out-of-school-youth (OSY) and street children regarding the pernicious effects of drug abuse, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales headed by Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, CESO V, successfully carried out the 1-day “Orientation on the Establishment and Operation of Special Drug Education Center (SDEC) for Out of School Youth and Street Children” on July 28, 2021 via Zoom video conferencing platform.
The activity was participated in by the Provincial and Municipal Social Welfare Development Officers, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and Liga ng mga Barangay Federation Presidents, Representatives from the Local Health Office, Department of Education (DepEd), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), PNP Women and Children Desk Officers, and LGU Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Focal Persons—who will be partners and key implementers of the SDEC facility. The said undertaking then served as a venue to capacitate the key implementers of the said facility.

DILG, PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBALES JOIN HANDS IN ENSURING QUALITY IMPLEMENTATION OF FY 2020 CMGP PROJECTS IN THE PROVINCE

To ensure that the Locally Funded Projects in the Province of Zambales are implemented in accordance with the required technical specifications and are constructed in conformance to quality assurance standards, the DILG Zambales Provincial Monitoring Team (DILG-PMT) led by Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, CESO V, conducted a joint on-site inspection with the Provincial Government of Zambales thru the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) for the FY 2020 Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP) projects on July 19-22, 2021.
Zambales have been a recipient of this program since 2016 which started as Konkreto at Ayos na LanSAngan and DAan Tungo sa Pangkalahatang Kaunlaran (KALSADA) Programand transitioned to Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP) programthat aims to improve the poor state of provincial roads and enhance the competency level of the province when it comes to local road management and public financial management.
