The Provincial Government of Zambales, under the leadership of Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr., in collaboration with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales, successfully conducted the 2024 HONGLOY AWARDING ceremony on December 05, 2024 at Balin Sambali, Iba, Zambales. This significant event celebrated the outstanding contributions and accomplishments of Local Government Units (LGUs) across various local governance assessments.

Following the remarkable launching and conduct of CY 2023 ????ambales’ ????xemplary ????chievements as ????egislators (????????????????) last September 2023, the Vice Mayors League of the Philippines (VMLP) – Zambales Chapter, headed by Vice Mayor Joan D. Ballesteros, Philippine Councilors League (PCL) – Zambales Chapter headed by Hon. Peter T. Lim and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Zambales headed by Provincial Director Martin Porres B. Moral, CESO V successfully conducted the Zambales’ Exemplary Achievements as Legislators (ZEAL) CY 2024 Onsite Assessment of Sangguniang Bayan of the 13 municipalities in Zambales last November 5-14, 2024.

Ang Gawad KALASAG (KAlamidad at Sakuna LAbanan, SAriling Galing ang Kaligtasan) Seal and Special Awards for Excellence in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and Humanitarian Assistance para sa taong 2024 ay isinagawa noong Nobyembre 28, 2024 sa Laus Group Event Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The Provincial Government of Zambales through the Provincial Health Office, in collaboration with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales, spearheaded the first-ever Orientation on the Department of Health (DOH) and DILG Joint Administrative Order (JAO) 2022-0001 titled “Policy Framework on Leadership and Governance for Health (LeadGov4Health) Towards a Functional Local Health Board” on November 19, 2024, at the PhilHealth Building, Zone VI, Iba, Zambales.

The 42nd Provincial Children’s Congress was successfully held at Botolan's People Plaza today, November 20, 2024, bringing together children from the 13 municipalities of Zambales to celebrate their talents and advocate for their rights. This year’s theme, “Break the Prevalence. End the Violence: Protect Children. Create a Safe Philippines,” resonated throughout the event, emphasizing the importance of creating a safe environment for all.
