                 AN AUDIO VIDEO PRESENTATION    

     Angeles City held its Local Governance Performance Management System Utilization Conference on e-SLGR (State of Local Governance Performance Electronic Report) on July 4, 2013 at Shanghai Palace Restaurant, Angeles City.  This was in compliance to DILG Memorandum Circular 2007-24 mandating the submission of SLGR as the Annual Report of LGUs and Regional Memorandum Circular No. 2013-10 dated May 15, 2013 signed by DILG Regional Director Florida M. Dijan, mandating LGUs to conduct Utilization Conference.

 

     The City Board of Canvassers led by Atty. Numer P. Lobo, Comelec Registrar, Vice Chairman Atty. Oliver Garcia, City DepEd proclaimed incumbent City Mayor Edgardo D. Pamintuan and Vice Mayor Ma. Vicenta  Vega Cabigting as winners together with the other Sangguniang Panlungsod Members, Jericho Aguas, Arvin Suller, Bryan Matthew Nepomuceno, Danica Lacson, Maricel Morales, Edu Pamintuan, Alex Indiongco, Carmelo Lazatin, Jr. Maximo Sangil and Amos Rivera. 

     The proclamation was held  at around 3:30 AM, May 14, 2013 and  witnessed by  City Director Remedios M. Rodriguez, other DILG Staff, Media, Private Sectors and other Volunteers. Mayor Pamintuan thanked the Lord for having a peaceful election and all his supporters, Meanwhile, Congressman Carmelo Lazatin announced through GV. FM that he is conceding.  ” Ang mamayan ay nagsalita na dapat sundin natin” he said.  He congratulates Mayor Pamintuan and all other   winners He also thanked all his supporters.  According to him after his term as congressman he will go back to his private life and he will concentrate on his business and will not comment or criticize the governance of Pamintuan.

   This city joined in the celebration of the 115thProclamation of Philippine Independence in a ceremonial flag raising rite held at the Pamintuan Mansion last June 12, 2013.
 
   Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan, led the said ceremony along with other city government officials including DILG City Director Remedios M. Rodriguez and  National Historical Commission of the Philippines Commissioner Dr. Ferdinand C. Llanes.

 

     ANGELES CITY -The AngelesCity Fire Station has received a brand new Rosenbauer TLF 4000fire truck from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). This was announced by CityFire Marshall Chief Inspector Gary Alto, who said Angeles City is among the 38cities in the country that received a brand new fire truck from DILG Secretary Mar Roxas.
Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan thanked the DILG for including Angeles City in the first batch of recipients of the 38 modern fire trucks.
“We thank President Benigno ‘Noynoy’Aquino and DILG Secretary Mar Roxas for providing the new Rosenbauer fire truck which will be of great help to our city,” Pamintuan said. The distribution of fire trucks is part of the late Secretary Jesse Robredo’s program of modernizing the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
Alto said the 38 fire trucks were part of the 76 fire trucks that the BFP is acquiring this year.
Alto revealed that Angeles City has five serviceable fire trucks.
“The acquisition of this new fire truck will help boost the fire fighting capability of the (fire) department,” he said.
