With the aim of providing additional support to the Local Government Units, the DILG Zambales conducted a Provincial Seminar-Workshop on the use of Peace and Order and Public Safety Plans – Policy Compliance Monitoring System (POPSP-PCMS) on February 15, 2024, at the Balin Sambali, Iba, Zambales. This effort is intended to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of LGUs' compliance with the reportorial requirements through the system.

In a groundbreaking initiative, the Municipality of San Antonio, Zambales pioneered the hosting of the Lady Legislators’ League of the Philippines, Inc. (Four-L) Municipal Chapter Election on February 15, 2024. Spearheaded by Hon. The DILG Zambales Provincial Monitoring Team (PMT) led by Provincial Director Martin Porres B. Moral, CESO V, conducted a  final onsite inspection of the two completed farm-to-market road projects namely, “Upgrading of Farm-to-market Road in Barangay Biay” and “Concreting of Farm-to-Market Road in Barangay Lucapon South” in the Municipality of Sta. Cruz, Zambales last February 7, 2024.

In accordance with the mandate of the Department to assist the local government units, Martin Porres B. Moral, CESO V, DILG Zambales Provincial Director, led a consultation last February 7, 2024, with the three (3) recipient barangays of SBDP 2023 in the municipality of Sta.Cruz. LGOO VI Maharlina J. Tejada, Engr. Darwin Bejasa and Engr. Albert Marce of the Municipal Engineering Office, concerned Punong barangays and councils were also in attendance.
