WE ARE THE CORE! WE STAND AS ONE! Punong Barangays, along with the barangay-based CSOs, media personalities, NGAs, uniformed personnel (PNP, AFP, BFP, PCG), Sangguniang Kabataan, representatives from the different sectors and other stakeholders during the kick-off  of the Balangayan Provincial Roadshow Cluster 1 for the Municipalities of Baler, Maria Aurora, San Luis, Dipaculao and Dingalan at the Sentro Baler, November 27, 2019.

With the goal of raising public awareness and secure substantial public support on the need to change the present 1987 Constitution, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Aurora launched the Constitutional Reform (CoRe) Provincial Roadshow in the Province of Aurora in a series of activities from November 26 to 28, 2019 with the bulk of participant attending the Balangayan in the Sentro Baler and the Casiguran Agricula.

Monitoring of Compeleted FY 2018 LGSF-ADM Project, Expansion of Level III WaterSystem in Brgy. Sabang, Baler, Aurora

In view of the forthcoming implementation of the FY 2019 Local Government Support Fund – Assistance to Municipalities (LGSF-AM), DILG Aurora conducted a General Orientation on the said Program’s Policy Guidelines and Procedures on September 24, 2019 in the Municipality of Baler. This initiative was spearheaded by the DILG Provincial Project Monitoring Team (PPMT) with the assistance of the Municipal Local Government Operations Officer.

Participants from the Province Aurora and Zambales as DILG emphasizes the relevance of the Training on Contract Management and Construction Supervision to the provisions of the DILG-DBM JMC No. 2017-2 (CMGP Guidelines) dated April 26, 2017.

DILG Aurora, headed by Provincial Director, Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac Jr., CESO V, in partnership with DILG Zambales, carried out a successful conduct of the activity entitled, “Training on Contract Management and Construction Supervision” on September 16-18, 2019 at Vista Marina Hotel and Resort, Subic Zambales. The activity catered a total of 41 participants composed of the technical staffs from Provincial Government of Aurora and Zambales together with DILG personnel from both provinces.
