Baler, Aurora – DENR Aurora celebrated Earth Month 2025 in partnership with DILG Aurora on 25 April 2025.
Adopting DILG Aurora’s environmental program, Plogging sa Baybayin, the activity was conducted along the coastline of Sabang, Baler, Aurora. CENRO Jimmy Aberin highlighted in his message that proper segregation of solid wastes at home amplifies a significant support to green revolution. Meanwhile, Ms. Lizel Licay of EMB emphasized that such activity advocates a collective action towards a greener and sustainable environment through generations.
Consequently, PD Ener Cambronero relentlessly underscored the mandate of barangays in ensuring effective waste management and continuous support to environmental programs of the department through the KALINISAN sa Bagong Pilipinas Program. An estimated waste collection of 15 sacks were collected by an estimated 37 participants from DENR, DILG, and Barangay Officials of Sabang.
