In view of the forthcoming implementation of the FY 2019 Local Government Support Fund – Assistance to Municipalities (LGSF-AM), the DILG Aurora conducted a General Orientation on the said Program’s Policy Guidelines and Procedures on July 30, 2019 and August 1, 2019 in the Municipality of Dipaculao and San Luis, respectively. This initiative was spearheaded by Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac Jr., CESO V, Provincial Director, with the technical assistance of the DILG Provincial Project Monitoring Team (PPMT).

DILG AURORA – Baler. To promote one of the Department’s programs, the Enhanced-Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP), DILG Aurora Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, appeared on a radio guesting on May 24, 2019, in the “Sinagtala Para sa Bayan” Program of the 91st Sinagtala Infantry Battalion, 7ID, Philippine Army (PA), which has a time slot every Friday, 9:00-10:00 in the morning, at DWBW 92.1 FM Radyo TV Baler, anchored by Cpl Emer L. Decena, CMO/NCO.

On April 23, 2019, the Blessing and Inauguration of its new provincial office building was held at Brgy. Suklayin, Baler, Aurora. The event was attended by officers and personnel from the different national government agencies and LGUs.

BALER, Aurora – The Department of the Interior and Local Government – Aurora, headed by Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, monitored the conduct of 2019 1st Semester Barangay Assembly in the Province of Aurora. With its best practice on Solid Waste Management, Brgy. Detailen, Maria Aurora, Aurora, led by Punong Barangay Gemma H. Alay-ay, has been chosen as the Aurora Provincial Showcase Barangay held at the Barangay Hall on March 23, 2019 with the theme, “Barangay Natin, Sama-Samang Paunlarin!”

BALER, Aurora – To further evaluate the effectiveness of dispute resolution strategies and techniques implemented by the Lupong Tagapamayapa and to determine their adherence to the prescribed guidelines set by the DILG, the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) Regional Assessment Team conducted a on-site assessment on April 23, 2019 at Brgy. Umiray, Dingalan – provincial entry of Aurora at the regional level.
