BALER, AURORA. - A total of fourteen former rebels who surrendered in the Province of Aurora were given financial assistance amounts ranging from P 65,000.00 to P285,000.00 under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) of the DILG which is a flagship program of President Rodrigo Duterte’s peace and order agenda.

ANGELES CITY - On November 6-8, 2019, DILG Aurora administered a three (3)-day Training on Quality Assurance/ Quality Control (QA/QC) for Infrastructure Projects held at Hotel Euroasia, Angeles City, Pampanga. The said training is one of capacity development interventions of the Provincial Government of Aurora (PGA) which is indicated in their FY 2019 Annual Reform Action Plan (ARAP).

The activity primarily intends to enhance the capacity of the technical personnel from the Provincial Engineering Office of the PGA regarding the principles, concepts and procedures on Materials Minimum Testing Requirements for Items of Works for road projects. Likewise, it aims to enhance the knowledge and understanding of the said personnel on the QA/QC Procedures.

A total of 25 participants from the Provincial Government of Aurora and DILG Aurora headed by Provincial Director, Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac Jr., CESO V attended the training. Engr. Ariel T. Jaceldone, Materials Engineeer II from the Department of Public Works and Highways- Regional Office III, served as the Resource Speaker.
