Governor Amor D. Deloso as the Chair of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) together with DILG Zambales led by Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad and PNP Provincial Director PSSUPT Christopher J. Mateo facilitated the conduct of the 2nd Quarter Joint PPOC and PADAC Meeting on May 23, 2017 at the Zambales Training and Conference Center, Iba, Zambales.
The activity was attended by Municipal Mayors Bing Maniquiz of Botolan and Joy Apostol of Cabangan, Municipal Chiefs of Police, Municipal Fire Marshals, DILG Field Officers, functionaries from the provincial government, civil society organization (CSO) representatives and other guests.
In his message, Governor Deloso emphasized the importance of peace and order in the growth and development of the Zambales. He cited the projects being implemented in the province by both the national government and private sectors, in addition to the investments being poured in by numerous businesses. Governor Deloso called for unity of all sectors in the province, for the continued progress of Zambales.
The Zambales Provincial Police Office (ZPPO), Philippine Army (PA) 3rd Mechanized Infantry Division, and the Provincial Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) presented their accomplishments during the period along with their plans and upcoming projects.
