DILG Zambales conducted a Mid-Year Program Review cum Team Building last August 10-11, 2015 at Subic Bay Peninsular Hotel, SBFZ, Olongapo City. Said activity was headed by PD Armi V. Bactad, CESO V and participated in by 21 employees consisting of the provincial personnel/staff and field officers.
The program review aimed to provide a clear sense of direction to the programs, projects and activities of the Department that were carried out, assess the performance of DILG Zambales in terms of the implementation and to further impart the need to effect significant organizational and individual reforms among its personnel.
During the short opening program, PD Bactad officially introduced ARD Araceli San Jose, CESO V who in return gave her welcome remarks. In her message she expressed appreciation over the support extended by the Team in the accomplishments of programs and activities in the region. She emphasized the importance of this activity which is to intensify the cohesiveness of the group.
After that, team building ensued. Team building activities was the highlight of the event wherein participants were divided into two (2) teams and were made to compete in friendly games designed to foster camaraderie and team work. Bingo games highlighted the fellowship night. Monetary prizes and gadgets/supplies that can be used for fast communication/coordination between and among employees such as power banks, daily journals, post-its and sign pens were given away for the winners. The group even toured some of the historical/tourist spots in SBMA. A short closing program and awarding of winners took place after lunch of the 2nd day.
As a whole, the activity left a high level of team spirit on the DILG Zambales Team.
