AN AUDIO VIDEO PRESENTATION
LGOO VII Melissa D. Nipal, Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of DILG Zambales, delivered an impactful message to youth leaders during the Training on Comprehensive Sexuality Education for Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairpersons from all 13 municipalities of the province. The training, which was held at Balin Sambali, Iba, Zambales aimed to equip youth leaders with the knowledge to address issues related to sexual and reproductive health.
In her message, OIC Nipal emphasized the contributions of the Sanggunian Kabataan in identifying priority programs, projects and activities to support the program of the government in prioritizing adolescent health and development.
Futher, the SKs were reminded to be more proactive in their role as partner of the barangay government in the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangay (SGLGB), emphasizing that proactive youth participation can drive significant community improvements while enhancing transparency and accountability in local governance.
Present during the training were Hon. Nestor E. Pacheco, Liga ng mga Barangay President, Hon. Carl Eric B. Rico, SK Federation President, Ms. Rose Ann P. Coronado, Provincial Local Youth Development Officer, and the 13 Municipal Local Youth Development Officers (LYDOs).
