DILG Spearheads Stakeholders’ Convergence Dialogue on Bajo de Masinloc

     With the objective of addressing the pressing issues arising from China's claims on West Philippine Sea as reported by concerned Zambales fisher folk organizations, a Stakeholders' Convergence Dialogue on Bajo de Masinloc was conducted last July 8, 2015 at the Covered Court, Masinloc Baywalk, South Poblacion, Masinloc, Zambales. This activity was the brainchild of no less than the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar A. Roxas III as the champion of local communities and local governments which aims to provide concrete actions that address actual concerns and negative impacts of issues to the common 'tao'.

Zambales Youth Trains on Disaster Preparedness thru WEmboree

The DILG Region 3 in close coordination with DILG Zambales and the Provincial Government successfully conducted the Operation "Listo" WEmboree held on June 29-30, 2015 at Zambales Sports Complex, Iba, Zambales. The main objective of the activity is to create awareness and intensify the involvement as well as commitment of the youth in response to Disaster Risk Reduction and Management. The two-day activity was participated by 66 youth leaders from the 13 municipalities and 1 city in the Province of Zambales.

DILG Zambales Participates In The Tree Planting Activity

    DILG Zambales headed by PD ARMI V. BACTAD, CESO V, participated in the tree planting activity conducted by Provincial Government of Zambales last June 26, 2015 at Sitio Olpoy, Amungan, Iba, Zambales.

    The activity was attended and participated by an estimated 400 government officials and employees from the Provincial Government and NGAs such as DILG, PA, PNP, DepEd, DPWH, DENR, DOH and Barangay Officials of the Municipality of Iba with no less than Gov. Hermogenes E. Ebdane leading the ceremonial tree planting which is in line with the nationwide observance of Arbor day.
