BALER, AURORA. Six former rebels who surrendered in the Province of Aurora were given financial assistance amounting to P 65,000.00 under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) of the DILG which is a flagship program of President Rodrigo Duterte’s peace and order agenda.
On June 01, 2022, Govenor Gerardo A. Noveras (Vice Governor-elect); Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr. CESO V, DILG Aurora Provincial Director; LTC Julito B. Recto, Jr. INF (GSC) PA, Acting Commanding Officer, 91IB, 71D, Philippine Army; PMaj Emilio Sison of Aurora Police Provincial Office; and Ms. Camay Joy D. Bernardo of Aurora PSWDO, led the awarding ceremony for the 6 former rebels during the conduct of the E-CLIP AWARDING at the Governor's Conference Room, Provincial Capitol Compound, Baler, Aurora.

The DILG Aurora Provincial LFP team travelled to the towns of Dilasag and Dipaculao to monitor LGSF projects funded through the Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FALGU) program. This is to ensure the compliance of Local Government Units in implementing the projects under the said program. Monitoring parameters such as timeliness, documentary completeness/accuracy, and quality are all monitored and evaluated.

In pursuit of good local governance, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 3 formalized its partnership with the Wesleyan University of the Philippines, through the Ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing on April 22, 2022, at the AMCO Beach Resort, Brgy. Sabang, Baler, Aurora.
DILG Region 3 Regional Director, Karl Caesar R. Rimando, CESO III and DILG Aurora Provincial Director, Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr. CESO V, was joined by the Wesleyan University of the Philippines President - Judge Benjamin T. Turgano (RET.) and WUP-Aurora School Administrator, Dra. Estrella C. Buenaventura and LGU Maria Aurora, Aurora MPDC, Nicasio Gatchalian, represenating Mayor Amado M. Geneta for the ceremonial MOA signing for the implementation of the Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS) for FY 2022 in the Municipality of Maria Aurora.
