AN AUDIO VIDEO PRESENTATION
As part of the objective of building a disaster resilient nation, the DILG Zambales together with Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) joined in the conduct of the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) today, June 28, 2024 at Capitol Compound, Iba, Zambales.
NSED is part of the government's comprehensive checklist in creating disaster-responsive and resilient individuals. Through this kind of activity, people will learn how to respond more efficiently during the occurrence of disaster and consequently minimizing potential damages. Furthermore, this exercise encourages constant public commitment to improve local emergency plans and course of actions in addition to acting as a tool for gauging public awareness and knowledge of disaster response.
The aforementioned activity was actively participated in by the personnel from Provincial Tourism Office, DILG Staff, and Philippine Army.
