December 5-6, 2023 | The Municipality of San Antonio in coordination with DILG San Antonio and PDEA Zambales conducted the Trainor’s Training for the Community-Based Anti-Illegal Drugs Advocate (CBAIDA). The activity was attended by Punong Barangays, BADAC Members, SK Chairpersons, and Barangay Secretaries.
The following topics were discussed: Drug-Free Workplace, RA 9165, Barangay Drug Clearing Program, BADAC Functionality Audit Indicators. The activity was facilitated by Mr. Glenn Guillermo, IA I Gina Luz Cruz, Mr. Christian De Honor, and MLGOO Threeks F. Fontamillas, respectively.
In his message, Municipal Mayor Hon. Edzel L. Lonzanida, MD stressed the importance of continuing enhancement program in the fight against the use of illegal and dangerous drugs.
After the training, the Balay Silangan Reformation Center of San Antonio was also inaugurated. The activity was headed by Mayor Lonzanida and Vice Mayor Bactad and attended by the employees of the Municipality together with the representatives from PDEA, headed by Provincial Officer IA V Jigger Juniller.
The training and inauguration ceremony were in support to and in preparation for the mission of the LGU in attaining a drug-cleared Municipality status.
