To recognize the outstanding efforts and accomplishments of LGUs in various local governance assessments, the Provincial Government of Zambales with the leadership of Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr.,conducted the Hongloy Awarding 2023 at Balin Sambali, Sports Complex, Iba, Zambales last November 28, 2023. Plaques of recognition and cash incentives, courtesy of Governor Ebdane, were awarded to different LGUs in Zambales.
Hongloy is a Zambal word that means “fuel” and stands for “????armonizing ????rganization's I????tervention through nurturin???? a culture of ????earning and ????ptimizing the abilit???? of Knowledge Sharing in the Province of Zambales”. It shall be the main source of energy for the Sub-LGRRC members and stakeholders in providing basic services and implementation of various PPAs to its clients.
Among the awards conferred to the different LGUs in Zambales are the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG), Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA), Peace and Order Council (POC), Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC), Gawad KALASAG (KAlamidad at Sakuna LAbanan SAriling Galing ang Kaligtasan), Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Award (LTIA), Local Committees on Anti-Trafficking and VAWC (LCAT-VAWC), Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC), and Locally Funded Projects (LFP) Best Implementers.
