October 26, 2023 | The Municipality of San Antonio in coordination with DILG San Antonio conducted the Knowledge on KP: Uplifting the Sense of Community held at San Antonio Youth Center
Included in the program were the re-orientation of Lupon Tagapamayapa’s roles and responsibilities, mediation and conciliation proceedings, cases that can be filed in KP, and reminders on VAWC laws and provisions. The Resource Speakers were MLGOO Threeks F. Fontamillas, PMaj Noel Sitjar, HRMO Stephanie Niña Navarro, DPA and MSWDO Corazon Zamora.
Additionally, Barangay West Dirita was awarded as the Best Lupon Tagapamayapa out of the 14 barangays in the municipality. They received a plaque of recognition and cash incentives to be used in improving their services.
This annual activity is conducted as part of the continuing education program to keep them above in handling disputes.
