A commitment signing of the participants will be administered to seek their full support on disaster preparedness efforts in the region to include their firm resolve on the implementation of the local disaster risk reduction and management and climate change adaptation plans.

Towards the end of the event, Secretary Robredo will lead the awarding of checks to Region 3 LGU Beneficiaries and recipients of the Performance Challenge Fund (PCF).

On the following day, DILG, through the Local Government Academy (LGA), in partnership with the Agencia Española de Cooperacion International para el Desarrollo (AECID) and Senator Loren Legarda,  will also hold the Collaboration Workshop for the 18 Major River Basins (Pampanga River Basin) in the same venue.  The activity will be attended by the Local Chief Executives of the provinces of Regions 1, 2 and 3 which are within the Pampanga River Basin together with their SK Provincial Federation President, ABC Provincial Federation President, Chairperson of the Sanggunian Committee on Environment, Mayors, DRRM Officers of covered municipalities, selected members of the Regional Development Council and representatives of the private sector (NGOs, CSOs, Business, Local Acacemic Institutions and Church Representatives).
