TARLAC CITY, TARLAC – The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Tarlac conducted a Kick-Off Ceremony on March 1, 2018 at the Maria Cristina Park in celebration of this year's celebration of the Fire Prevention Month with the theme, "Ligtas na Pilipinas ang Ating Hangad, Pag-iingat sa Sunog ay sa Sarili Ipatupad."

TARLAC CITY, TARLAC – In acknowledgement of the universal call of action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity, the Philippine Government through the Local Government Units (LGUs) were engaged to advocate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) at the local level.

TARLAC – in consideration of the urgent need to prepare for the imminent 7.2 magnitude earthquake that may happen anytime, the Disaster Preparedness Cluster of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) of Region III convened on February 13, 2018 in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

TARLAC – to bring about equal representation of the community in all the affairs of the government, DILG Tarlac and the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) witnessed the oath taking of the Municipality of San Jose's Indigenous People's Mandatory Representative (IPMR) to the Sangguniang Bayan as well as the other IPMRs in three barangays.

TARLAC – Heads and representatives of different offices of the Provincial Government of Tarlac (PGT) were oriented by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Tarlac Provincial Office on the beefed-up indicators of the 2016 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) at the Provincial Capitol, Tarlac City on February 22 to provide initial information on the program’s implementation.
 
DILG Provincial Director Belina Herman said the SGLG is an important tool that measures the performance of local government units (LGUs) coupled with the Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) which is an incentive given to LGUs after they’ve complied with the requirements of the SGLG.

TARLAC – in an effort to keep barangays at pace with the ever-changing demands of peace and order in the community, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Tarlac Provincial Office conducted a site validation of the four (4) entries to the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives and Awards (LTIA) on February 8, 2018.
