The Municipality of Baler, together with the DILG Provincial Office of Aurora, inaugurated the new Pasalubong Center funded under the F.Y. 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Incentive Fund on September 20, 2023.
As one of the awardees of the 2022 SGLG, Baler received PhP 5,000,000.00 to build easily accessible spaces for vendors to sell local products and other handicrafts so that tourists and residents alike can support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the locality.

Kahapon, ika-8 ng Agosto, ang Kagawaran ng Interyor at Lokal na Pamahalaan sa pamumuno ni OIC PD Ener P. Cambronerp CESE ay nagsagawa ng oryentasyon para sa Pamahalaang Bayan ng San Luis, Aurora tungkol sa Capacilitating Urban Communities for Peace and and Development (CUCPD) sa Tanggapan ng Sangguniang Bayan ng San Luis, Aurora.

Ang CUCPD ay isa sa mga programang prayoridad sa ilalim ng EO 70 na ipinatutupad ng Kagawaran ng Interyor at Lokal na Pamahalaan at isinasagawa sa mga piling bayan upang tugunan ang mga ugat ng insurhensiya at armadong labanan sa bansa.

Nilalayon ng programang ito na makamit ang pangmatagalang kapayapaan at napapanatiling pag-unlad ng mga komunidad. Ito rin ay isang programa na naglalayong tukuyin ang tunay at pinakakagyat na pangangailangan ng mga mga sektor na nasa laylayan ng ating lipunan kung saan binibigyang prayoridad ang mga kabataan, manggagawa, mga maralita at mga kababaihan.

Aurora Youth Leaders, headed by Aurora SK Provincial Federation President Jovene Mike Alpuerto, hone their leadership skills and capacitate their decision-making capabilities as they participate in the first Aurora Local Youth Assembly, on July 22, 2023 at the Pacific Waves Resort, Sabang, Baler, Aurora.

In support to this program, DILG Aurora, represented by LGOO VI Florenz Zaira B. Buenconsejo and LGOO II Gerald Philip DC Esteves graced the activity, and delivered messages of support on behalf of OIC PD Ener P. Cambronero, CESE.
