The collective efforts of all members of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) in ensuring and maintaining peace and order and public safety have been once again enunciated through the Ceremonial Signing and Confirmation of Resolution Declaring that the Province of Aurora is in a “State of Stable Internal Peace and Security” on March 13, 2024 in Sangguniang Panlalawigan Hall, Capitol Compound, Baler, Aurora.
The DILG Aurora Provincial Office, in partnership with Atty. Patrick Alexis G. Angara conducts the Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) Refresher Course on March 14, 2024. During the discussion, Atty. Angara reviewed the DILG technical personnel on the venue and jurisdiction of the KP Law and explained the administration and powers of Lupong Tagapamayapa. He also demonstrated procedures for administering cases through mediation, reconciliation, and arbitration.
