The Provincial Government (PG) of Aurora aims to add another feather to its cap as it undergoes the 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Regional Assessment on June 14, 2024. PG Department Heads along with PNP and DepEd leaders and other concerned officials convened at the SP Session Hall, Capitol Building, for the SGLG table assessment.
Evaluation of the ten (10) governance areas was facilitated by the Regional Assessment Team headed by LGOO VII Lerrie S. Hernandez, EnP., LGOO V Fatima S. Lalu, and Engr. Anna Liza Nacion of Don Honorio Ventura State University, with LGOO II Angelique Fe Valenzuela as documenter. The team meticulously examined PG Aurora's governance practices through documentation reviews, and stakeholder interviews. DILG Provincial Director Ener Cambronero and SGLG Provincial Focal Person, LGOO VI Florenz Zaira Buenconsejo, were also instrumental in championing the province's efforts during the SGLG Regional Assessment.
With its sights set on securing another prestigious SGLG award, the province remains committed to its path of continuous improvement, setting high standards in governance and public service.
