Through the support of the Provincial Government headed by Governor Amor D. Deloso, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales facilitated the provincial awarding of the 2017 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) during the Joint Provincial Peace and Order (PPOC) and Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) meeting held on May 23, 2017 at the Zambales Training and Conference Center, Iba, Zambales. 

Besting other barangays, San Juan of Botolan and Camiing of Cabangan were adjudged as the Best Lupong Tagapamayapa for the 1st to 3rd class and 4th to 6th class municipal category, respectively.

In recognition of their efforts, Governor Deloso, together with DILG Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad and PNP Provincial Director PSSUPT Christopher J. Mateo, awarded Barangays San Juan and Camiing a plaque of commendation and cash incentive. DILG Officers Lee Allen B. Pineda and Cindy C. Cagalitan were also recognized for their efforts in providing technical assistance to the Provincial LTIA Winners. Certificates of Recognition were likewise given to barangays San Isidro (Subic), San Miguel (San Antonio), San Nicolas (Castillejos), Collat (Masinloc), Lipay (Sta. Cruz), and Nagbunga (San Marcelino) who garnered very satisfactory rating during the provincial LTIA assessment.

The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) is an annual search for Lupong Tagapamayapa with exemplary service delivery performance that significantly contributed to the attainment of the Katarungang Pambarangay objectives as an indigenous form of settling disputes in the barangay level through efficiency in operations and good governance.
