                 AN AUDIO VIDEO PRESENTATION    

The DILG Zambales Provincial Officein collaboration with the DILG Regional Information and Communication Technology Unit (RICTU) 3facilitated a provincial roll-out on the revised 2019 and 2020 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit Indicator Reference, back-to-back with a hands-on training on the ADAC-Functionality Monitoring System (FMS)for the municipal local government operations officers (MLGOOs), and municipal ADAC focal persons/encoders today, April 26, 2021 via Zoom meetings online platform.

The said activity is in pursuit of gearing up the monitoring of the local ADACs’ performancemeasuring their functionality for the years 2019 and 2020 via online platform.

DILG Zambales Cluster Team Leader Judith B. Romero highlighted that the task of the designated ADAC focal persons and encoders in the timely encoding of information and uploading the modes of verification (MOVs) for evaluation and assessment by the Audit Provincial Team (APT), is vital and must be inputted with caution, as these shall form the overall LGU performance on anti-illegal drug campaign.

The undertaking also served as an avenue for an in-depth discussion of DILG Memorandum Circular 2021-027 by Provincial Focal Person Maharlina J. Tejada, which provides the guidelines for the ADAC Performance Audit and the indicators that will gauge the functionality and effectiveness of local ADACs based on existing issuances and policies. Likewise, she also shared that generated data in the system will also form part of the assessment for ADAC Special Awards.

Moreover, Regional IT Officer Melerie Pineda, as well as the RICTU team provided the rationale and a walk-through of the ADAC-FMS to familiarize the participants in navigating the system.

Apart from measuring the performance of LGUs in their anti-illegal drug mandates, the audit will also determine ADAC-initiated innovations and best practices at all levelscreating a platform for evaluation, assessment and sharing of best practices among ADACs and/or ADAC member agencies at their respective levels.

The actual performance audit of ADACs in the provincial and municipal levels covering years 2019 and 2020 was also presented and shall take place between 2nd to 3rd quarter of this year.
