In a bid to ensure the sustainable handling of fisheries resources, the Manila Bay Regional Validation Team composed of representatives from DILG, DENR, BFAR and a CSO partner recently spearheaded a comprehensive Fisheries Compliance Audit (FishCA) across 10 local government units (LGUs) in Bataan from May 27 to 31, 2024.
To support the ongoing efforts to keep the Province of Bataan drug-cleared, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bataan, in collaboration with the Department of Health - Treatment and Rehabilitation Center Bataan, and the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Bataan Chapter, organized a Training on Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) from May 27 to 29, 2024, at the Subic Bay Peninsular Hotel, SBFZ.
PILAR, Bataan – In a significant stride towards enhancing community security, the local government unit of Pilar celebrated the turnover and inauguration of a brand-new patrol vehicle, funded through the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF). The ceremony, held on May 20, 2024, showcased the municipality's commitment to public safety and effective governance.
