The Provincial Locally-Funded Projects (LFP) Unit conducted an onsite progress monitoring and final inspection on November 14, 2024, for infrastructure projects in the municipalities of Hermosa and Orani.
In Hermosa, the LFP team visited two key projects aimed at improving agricultural access. The first project, a farm-to-market road in Barangay Saba, received a national subsidy of ₱5 million, while the second project, another farm-to-market road in Barangay Balsic, was funded with ₱10 million under the FY 2023 Local Government Support Fund – Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (LGSF-FALGU) Program. Following the inspection, an exit conference was held with the participation of Municipal Engineer Jasmin Recibe and Engr. Cezar Tantiangco.
Meanwhile, in Orani, the LFP team conducted a final inspection of the road opening and concreting project in Barangay Bayan, which was granted a national subsidy of ₱6,606,882.17 under the FY 2023 Local Government Support Fund – Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP). Joining the exit conference were Mayor Bondjong Pascual, Municipal Engineer Mandy Cruz, and MLGOO Catherine Aduna.
These projects are part of the government’s continuous support for infrastructure initiatives that directly benefit local communities, enabling better access to markets and essential services for residents.
