BALER, Aurora – To assess the efficiency and effectiveness of dispute resolution strategies and techniques implemented by the members of the Lupong Tagapamayapa in their respective barangays and to determine their adherence to prescribed guidelines set by the DILG, the 2021 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) Provincial Awards Committee (PAC) convened on April 14, 2021, 9:00 AM at the DILG Aurora Provincial Office, Baler, Aurora.

 

salay01A completed Local Access Road Project in the Municipality of Dipaculao has already benefited over 1,500 people in Barangay Salay.

Dipaculao is one of the eight municipalities in Aurora situated at the mid-eastern part of the province, along coastline of the Pacific Ocean. It is comprised of twenty-five (25) geographically distinct barangays; hence, the LGU targeted road projects which aim to improve local road connectivity and access to basic services for its constituents.

DILG Aurora Provincial Team Conference, March 24, 2021

Giving highlights on the Department’s approach towards a strengthened internal communication and to continue in institutionalizing the Department’s cooperation and support to the clienteles in this time of pandemic, the DILG Aurora Provincial Office, headed by Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr. CESO V, held the Provincial Online Team Conference for the month of March through Zoom Meetings on March 24, 2021.

Said conference was graced by the presence of DILG Region III Regional Director, Dir. Julie J. Daquioag, Ph. D., CESO III.

Some Department Heads and Representatives from the Provincial Governmet of Aurora as they prepare for the Seal of Good Local Governance 2021 validation

Following the issuance of the Implementing Rules and Regulation of RA No. 11292 or the Seal of Good Local Governance Act to institutionalize the SGLG as a performance assessment and reward framework for local government units, the DILG Aurora team is now gearing for the 2021 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) evaluation.

In preparation for the upcoming assessment, the DILG headed by Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac Jr. CESO V and LGOO II Florenz Zaira Buenconsejo collaborated with the Provincial Government of Aurora, today, February 11, 2021, as many new areas have already been included in the SGLG law, such as Health Compliance and Responsiveness, Program for Sustainable Education and Youth Development.
