As part of the SGLG provincial approach scheme, the Pre-planning for the 2018 SGLG was conducted on February 28, 2018 at the Zambales Training and Conference Center, Iba, Zambales.

The activity facilitated by the DILG Zambales was attended by the LGU focal persons on each SGLG core and essential areas. The provincial SGLG approach is a scheme for a more collaborative and seamless method in hurdling the challenges of local governance.

DILG PD Armi V. Bactad in her message conveyed her gratitude to the initiative of the provincial government to conduct the activity. She encouraged the participants to engage in intelligent discussions and share their best practices.

“Tayo po ay part ng team na may magagawa para maimprove ang ating bayan, probinsya at bansa. Panatilihin natin sa puso at isip natin ang pagbibigay ng serbisyong matino, mahusay at maasahan” said PD Bactad.

A breakout session ensued where the focal persons were grouped per area and the indicators were thoroughly discussed. Best practices on good governance were also shared in the group. As an output, the participants came up with their action plan to serve as their guide in preparation for the upcoming SGLG assessment.
