MARIVELES, Bataan — In line with its role to assess various infrastructures funded under the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP), the DILG Bataan Locally Funded Projects (LFP) Team conducted on-site validations for three electrification projects on March 19, 2024.
Joining the inspection were MLGOO Ma. Jasmin Bartolo, barangay officials, and technical staff from the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan and the Municipal Engineering Office.
These solar lighting projects in Barangay Sisiman (100% Physically Completed), Barangay Maligaya (Not Yet Started), and Barangay Malaya (Not Yet Started) individually cost Php 6,606,882.17, which include about 86 to 91 solar-powered streetlights for each barangay. The primary objective is to install solar roadside lights primarily in vulnerable areas to enhance peace, security, and safety for the residents.
