The provincial engineers of DILG Bataan led the inspection of the three FY 2023 barangay-awarded Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FALGU) projects in Limay, Bataan on March 19, 2024.
Barangay Alangan, a beneficiary of the program with an ongoing farm-to-market road project through a national subsidy of five million pesos, is at 50% physical completion. The other two ongoing infrastructures are the construction of a three million-peso multi-purpose building in Barangay Reformista and another five million-peso project of the same type in Barangay Duale.
After the inspection, an exit conference at the municipal hall was held together with respective local functionaries. During the meeting, the findings and corresponding recommendations were discussed for rectification on a set timeline through the presentation of an Aide Memoire generated by the Quality Assurance and Assessment Report Tool.
FALGU is a program under the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF), in which projects are requested by provincial, city, municipal, and barangay LGUs through the Department of Budget and Management's Digital Requests Submission for LGSF.
