A newly acquired service ambulance worth Php 1.8 million funded through FY 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF), was completely delivered and inaugurated at the Municipal Hall, Morong, Bataan on November 18, 2024.
Municipal Mayor Hon. Cynthia Linao- Estanislao, expressed her appreciation to the Department’s support in helping the LGU to secure the prestigious SGLG award which prompted them to avail the SGLGIF which is a significant tool to provide a quality service like healthcare system to the community. She also commended the efforts of LGOO VI Laverne Gonzales Jr. and all persons in-charge who worked hard to make the projects achievable and promptly implemented.
Meanwhile, DILG Bataan PD Belina T. Herman, CESO V, commended the LGU as she emphasized that the milestone of completing the project is not only for completion reason but an evidence that the LGU deserves the coveted seal.
She also encouraged the LGU to exert more effort in fulfilling all indicators and areas for the next assessment as a proof of improvement in providing good governance. “In Bataan, we cannot settle for anything less but an excellent public service,” PD Herman concluded.
Meanwhile, in her closing remarks, Vice Mayor Hon Leila Linao-Muñoz, extended her appreciation to the Department, and all people who have been part of the milestone. She ensured also the commitment of everyone to continue their efforts in giving an excellent service and promote the brand #SulongMorong.
Also present during the activity are the Sangguniang Bayan members, department heads, volunteers, MLGOO Laverne C. Gonzales Jr., and DILG Bataan engineers and personnel.
