DILG Aurora joins the Orientation on the Youth and Student Recruitment of the Communist Terrorist Groups and the NTF-ELCAC EO 70 Call to Action held in the Headquarters 91st Infantry Battalion, Camp Jaime Bitong, Barangay Calabuanan, Baler, Aurora, on Thursda, October 6, 2022.

LGOO VII Ariel G. Espinosa, represented OIC PD Ener P. Cambronero and officially opened the youth forum. He reiterated that the youth are the hope of future and planting them with knowledge on the current insurgency system in the country will save them from being perpetrated by the communist groups.

With the end goal to enhance the effectiveness of CSOs in Local Development, the Provincial Government of Aurora in collaboration with the DILG Aurora led the Capacity Development Program for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Local Special Bodies (LSBs) on October 6, 2022 at the Aurora Trading Center, Baler, Aurora.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Aurora, headed by OIC-PD Ener P. Cambronero, CESE, held its Provincial Team Conference (PTC) via Hybrid Learning, yesterday, September 29, 2022, at the DILG Aurora Provincial Office and via Zoom Video Teleconferencing Platform.

The team's strategies in implementing the Department's programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) for the upcoming 4th Quarter are highlighted during the Team Conference. This is to consistently identify better methods and approach to implement the Department’s programs, projects and activities (PPAs) for the last quarter of the year.

On October 3, 2022, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Aurora OIC-Provincial Director Ener P. Cambronero served as a guest of honor and speaker in the Aurora Police Provincial Office’s (APPO) launch of the KASIMBAYANAN Program at Camp Victor Ravina, Brgy. Buhangin, Baler, Aurora.

The National Assessment Team composed of ARD Maria Loisella E. Lucino - Regional Office, LGOO V Emarie Quema-Deiparine, SGLG co-focals, Region 7, PD Dennis S. Quiñones - Siquijor Province, and LGOO V Jupiter Dawa - SGLG co-focals, Region 7, led the National Validation on the four municipalities of Aurora (Baler, San Luis, Maria Aurora and Dingalan) which were considered as potential passers for the FY 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) on September 13-14, 2022.

This is to validate the compliance of the four municipalities on the governance area's indicators as stipulated on the SGLG Law.
