DILG Bulacan, as member of the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) Technical Working Group (TWG) , collaborates with the DTI, PCEDO and LGU Representatives of Bulacan during its Provincial Advocacy Campaign held on March 26, 2024.

The activity aims to discuss matters that will help in enhancing the competitiveness of LGUs with regards to economic growth and development. Likewise, the activity is a major step in preparing the 24 cities and municipalities of Bulacan for the upcoming CMCI Assessment set to commence this April 2024.

Ang nasabing pagbisita ay nagsilbing daan upang palakasin ang ugnayan ng Kagawaran at ng nasabing pangrelihiyong organisasyon nang sa gayon ay maitaguyod ang aktibong pakikilahok ng komunidad sa pag-implementa ng mga programa at proyekto ng Departamento.


March 24, 2024 | As thousands of people gathered today for the BIDA Anniversary, the Province of Bulacan actively participated to the historical movement dubbed as BIDA Walk or the “Lakad Kontra Droga, BIDA Tayong Lahat!”, earlier this morning held at SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds, Pasay City.

The said activity was joined by the representatives from the cities/municipalities, barangay and SK Officials, non-government organizations(NGOs), and other sectors from the province.

The success of the said event signifies the solidarity of our nation in promoting and advancing safe and drug-free communities for all.

 

DILG Bulacan LFP Team inspects the construction of two-storey-two classroom building in Barangay Saluysoy and Barangay Libtong, City of Meycauayan. The said projects have total allocation of Php. 6, 606, 882.17 per project funded under F.Y. 2023: Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP).

These projects aim to benefit at least 155 students to provide a more secure and conducive learning environment for the students which will play a vital role in fostering educational advancement for the residents of the said barangays.

 

Opisyal na nagtapos sa ika-apat na linggo ang Barangay Newly Elected Officials (BNEO) towards Grassroots Renewal and Empowerment for Accountable and Transparent (GREAT) Barangays Basic Orientation Course para sa mga opisyales ng 572 na barangay ng lalawigan.

Kabilang sa mga sumailalim sa huling linggo ng naturang programa ay ang mga opisyal mula sa Bayan ng Bustos, Calumpit, Marilao at Lungsod ng San Jose Del Monte.

Layunin ng programa na ito na mas pataasin ang antas ng kaalaman at kakayahan ng mga bagong halal na opisyal ng barangay sa pagganap ng kanilang mandato at mga tungkulin na nakaangkla sa prinsipyo ng tapat at mabuting pamahalaang lokal.
