Pagpapatuloy sa pagsasagawa ng Barangay Newly Elected Officials (BNEO) towards Grassroots Renewal and Empowerment for Accountable and Transparent (GREAT) Barangays Basic Orientation Course sa mga opisyales mula sa mga barangay ng Bayan ng Angat, Bocaue, Bulakan, Pandi, Pulilan, San Rafael, mga Lungsod ng Baliwag at Malolos. Sa kasalukuyan ay nasa ikatlong linggo na ang nasabing aktibidad simula nang ika-11 hanggang ika-15 ng Marso, 2024.

 

The Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF) of Local Council for The Protection of Children (LCPC) and Local Committees on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (LCAT-VAWC), chaired by DILG Bulacan convened the LCPC and LCAT-VAWC Functionality Assessment for CY 2024.

Held on March 1 to 8, 2024, the PIMTF conducted the onsite assessment in all twenty-four (24) cities and municipalities in the Province of Bulacan. Through this process, the LGUs were thoroughly assessed to gauge the level of their functionality in safeguarding the rights of women, children, and trafficked persons through the implementation of their projects, programs, and activities intended for the welfare and protection of women and children.

Currently, the Provincial IMTF is set to schedule the final table validation in order to discuss and evaluate the final rating of the LGUs for the said audit, thus determining their functionality level in their respective localities.


In view of the celebration of National Women’s Month, DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia provided technical assistance in the planning conference of the Lady Local Legislators League of the Philippines (Four-L) Bulacan Chapter Inc. headed by Councilor Lucy Diego of Calumpit.

The said conference aims to strengthen the collaboration between DILG Bulacan and Lady Local Legislators League of the Province towards the advancement of women’s participation and representation in governance.

 

Pagsailalim ng mga opisyales mula sa mga barangay ng Bayan ng Hagonoy, Guiguinto, Obando, Norzagaray, at Siyudad ng Meycauayan para sa ikalawang linggo ng Barangay Newly Elected Officials (BNEO) towards Grassroots Renewal and Empowerment for Accountable and Transparent (GREAT) Barangays Basic Orientation Course na ginanap simula nang ika-04 hanggang ika-08 ng Marso, taong kasalukuyan.


Earlier today, the Provincial Government of Bulacan led by Governor Daniel Fernando and Vice Governor Alex Castro, inaugurated the newly constructed drainage system funded through FY 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) program amounting to Php 9,460,167.06. The SGLGIF project was granted to the Provincial Government of Bulacan after being conferred as one of the passers in the CY 2022 SGLG Assessment.

The newly constructed drainage system, with a length of 987.9 linear meters, is a testament to PG's unwavering dedication to address the needs of its constituents. Serving approximately 17,577 residents and farmers, this project aims to mitigate flooding risks and enhance safety along the Balagtas-Pandi Provincial Road.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by DILG Assistant Regional Director Jay Timbreza, Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, Mayor Eladio Gonzales and Vice Mayor Ariel Valderama of Balagtas, Board Member Cesar Mendoza of Fifth District and Provincial Engineer Glenn Reyes. They witnessed the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, unveiling of SGLGIF marker and the blessing of newly constructed drainage system.
The SGLGIF is an incentive fund given to the LGU passers of the Seal of Good Local Governance.
