Rosita Sison of Ayta Magbukun (Brgy. Bangkal, Abucay) sworn in on July 18, 2018 as the new member of the Sangguniang Panglalawigan of Bataan being the provincial indigenous people's mandatory representative (IPMR).
Gov. Albert Garcia administered the oath of office of IPMR Sison witnessed by Vice Gov. Cristina Garcia, SK Federation President Precious Manuel and DILG Bataan Provincial Director Myra Moral-Soriano in a fitting ceremony at the Governor's Office, Bulwagan ng Bayan, Balanga City, Bataan.
Pursuant to the Indigenous People's Right Act (IPRA) of 1997, the State shall ensure that the IPs shall be given mandatory representation in policy-making bodies and other legislative councils.
