A turnover ceremony took place on February 6, 2025, at the Municipal Hall of Abucay, Bataan, marking the transition of leadership in the Municipal Local Government Operations Office (MLGOO) of Abucay. LGOO VI Allan Don L. Malonzo officially handed over his duties to LGOO V Joanna Marie M. Cruz, who will serve as the new Officer-in-Charge MLGOO.
During his tenure, LGOO VI Malonzo played a key role in strengthening local governance in Abucay, guiding the municipality to achieve its first-ever Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) in 2023 and successfully maintaining it in 2024.
Mayor Ruben C. Tagle, along with LGU functionaries, expressed gratitude to Malonzo for his dedicated service over the past two years and extended a warm welcome to Cruz. In return, Malonzo conveyed his appreciation for the support and collaboration he received from the LGU throughout his assignment.
This transition marks a new chapter for Abucay’s local governance, with a continued commitment to service excellence.
