Another remarkable achievement for the Province of Bataan and the entire Central Luzon region, as the Municipality of Hermosa has been recognized as the second completer of the FY 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) project implementation across the country.
A final inspection was conducted by the DILG Bataan Locally-Funded Projects Team on April 2, 2024, to validate the infrastructure’s physical status. With a total allocation of 1.8 million pesos, the project titled “Concreting of Road at Barangay Palihan” achieved 100% physical completion on March 14, 2024, as officially reported on the SGLGIF website.
This infrastructure comprises a 139.80-meter-long and 5-meter-wide concrete pavement, strategically designed to enhance transportation safety and convenience for the residents of Barangay Palihan. The LGU believes that the community will benefit significantly from the improved accessibility brought about by the newly constructed road.
The onsite inspection was attended by local functionaries, including Municipal Engineer Jasmin Recibe and MLGOO Vernita La Torre.
