Five municipalities from Bataan—Abucay, Dinalupihan, Morong, Pilar, and Samal—were recognized for their outstanding anti-drug initiatives during the 2024 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Awarding Ceremony held on December 11, 2024, at the Manila Hotel.
These municipalities achieved a 100% performance rating in the ADAC Functionality Audit, maintained no seriously drug-affected barangays, and demonstrated institutional integrity in their anti-drug initiatives.
The ceremony was graced by DILG Bataan Provincial Director Belina T. Herman, CESO V, along with local chief executives, ADAC focal persons, and Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (MLGOOs) from the recognized municipalities.
DILG Bataan commends the awardees for their dedication to the government’s Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) Program and reaffirms its commitment to assisting LGUs in creating safer, healthier, and drug-free communities.
