The Regional Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (RIMTF) of LCPC composed of representatives from DILG Region III and PIA in coordination with DILG Bataan, spearheaded the table validation of the FY 2024 Functionality Assessment of the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) of the Province of Bataan on March 25, 2024 at the PSWDO Conference Room, Capitol Compound, Balanga City, Bataan.
The activity aims to gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of the Provincial Council for the Protection of Children in Bataan in ensuring the welfare and protection of children by assessing various aspects of LCPC functionality, including Organizational Sustainability, Policies and Plan for Children, Budget Allocation and Utilization, and Service Delivery and Management.
Members of the PIMTF, including representatives from the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, Provincial Planning and Development Office, Provincial Health Office, Department of Education, civil society organizations, and DILG, were also present in the activity.
The dedication and commitment of LCPC and PIMTF members at all levels have been crucial in improving social protection and welfare for children in Bataan Province.
