In celebration of February as the month of love, DILG Bataan hosted its Provincial Team Conference (PTC) on February 5, 2024, engaging in discussions about upcoming activities and various Department programs. Team members wore color-coded shirts, symbolizing their heart status and fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie. Chocolates and flowers were also given as token of appreciation.
During the PTC, DILG Bataan Provincial Director Belina Herman and OIC-Program Manager Danilyn Peña highlighted the agenda, emphasizing the upcoming schedules for the Barangay Newly Elected Official (BNEO) Orientation.
Updates on compliance status within the Finance and Administrative, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Capability Development Sections, as well as the Locally-Funded Project and the Information Units, were also presented.
In her closing remarks, OIC-CTL Cristy M. Blanco urged all attendees to rekindle their commitment to excellence, striving to uphold the province's reputation for delivering quality public service through effective program implementation, thus promoting good governance.
As February signifies a month of love, it provided an occasion to reflect on self-appreciation and care. The activity reminded all DILG Bataan personnel that love serves as the driving force behind all endeavors, emphasizing the importance of fostering love and compassion towards others in both personal and professional spheres.
