Governor Jose Enrique Garcia III, serving as Chairperson of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC), highlighted Bataan's 2023 accomplishments and outlined the targets for the current year during the councils meeting for the first quarter on February 6, 2024, at the Bunker.
The approval of the resolution on the revised Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan 2024 for the province was also a key agenda item.
Additionally, DILG Bataan Provincial Director Belina Herman provided insights into the schedules of the Barangay Newly-Elected Officials (BNEO), aimed at preparing them for their roles at the barangay level and fostering community development.
The joint meeting, organized by DILG Bataan as the PPOC Secretariat in coordination with the Provincial Government of Bataan, was attended by Vice Governor Ma. Cristina Garcia, BM Romano Del Rosario, LMP President Antonio Raymundo Jr., LnB Provincial Chapter President Romeo Austria, alongside various mayors of Bataan, CSOs and other PPOC-PADAC members.
