The Bataan Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), and Provincial Task Force on Ending Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) chaired by Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia III held its first quarter joint meeting on January 25, 2023.
Line agencies namely the Philippine Army, PNP, Metro Bataan Development Authority, PDEA and Bataan Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center presented their targets for implementation this year in order to sustain Bataan's status of being a peaceful, orderly, safe and drug-cleared province. Bureau of Customs Bataan was also invited to attend the meeting and presented their accomplishments for year 2022 as well.
Having received a "High Functionality" rating on the 2022 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit, PG Bataan also posed for pictures with the 2022 ADAC Awards plaque before the meeting was called to a close.
The joint meeting, organized by the PPOC Secretariat headed by DILG Bataan, was also attended by Vice Gov. Ma. Cristina Garcia, BM Popoy Del Rosario, Orion Mayor and LMP President Tonypep Raymundo, Mariveles Mayor AJ Concepcion, Limay Vice Mayor Richie David, Samal Vice Mayor Ronald Ortiguerra and other PPOC-PADAC members.
