The Municipality of Baler, together with the DILG Provincial Office of Aurora, inaugurated the new Pasalubong Center funded under the F.Y. 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Incentive Fund on September 20, 2023.
As one of the awardees of the 2022 SGLG, Baler received PhP 5,000,000.00 to build easily accessible spaces for vendors to sell local products and other handicrafts so that tourists and residents alike can support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the locality.

Provincial Peace and Order and Anti- Drug Abuse Council (PPOC PADAC) and Task Force ELCAC (PTF-ELCAC) was convened by Chairman Christian M. Noveras on September 18, 2023 at SP Hall, Baler, Aurora. The 3rd Quarter meeting highlighted the peace and order, anti-illegal drug, insurgency public and maritime safety situation of the Province of Aurora.

On September 13, 2022, the DILG Aurora LFP Team provided Technical Assistance to the Casiguran Municipal Project Monitoring Committee (MPMC) on the Basics of Project Monitoring and Common Observations and Findings for Vertical and Horizontal Structures during their 3rd Quarter Regular Meeting and Monitoring.
